COMMENTS OF REFUGEE COUNCIL USA REGARDING THE U.S. REFUGEE ADMISSIONS PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2015

We would also like to thank PRM and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for bringing in 70,000 refugees in FY13. We recognize the significant accomplishment that this was. We also recognize it as a tremendous example of the strength of the program, but we believe that we can do more. RCUSA recommends that the admissions ceiling for FY15 should be raised to 80,000, not including Syrians.
